## About Egmatic

Egmatic is a no-code editor for 2D games, built for solo developers and small teams who want to ship a real game, not just prototype one. From idea to published 2D game: no coding, no backend setup, a visual editor with one-click publish to all platforms. Game logic is assembled in a visual node editor instead of writing code. Scenes are built with drag and drop, and real-time preview gives instant feedback without a build step, so iteration stays fast from the first scene to the final build. The editor is designed around the way small teams actually work: one person, one tool, from first idea to shipped product. One project exports to Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS and Web. The same project file publishes everywhere, so a game made once reaches players on every major platform without maintaining separate codebases or build pipelines. Under the hood, the editor writes clean, versioned JSON contracts, and the runtime is a separate engine built on .NET 9 and MonoGame. This separation matters: a game never gets locked inside the tool. The JSON project format can be read, diffed and versioned like any other source, and the runtime can evolve independently from the editor. The roadmap focuses on what solo developers and small teams need after launch: player accounts, cloud saves and leaderboards without writing or hosting a backend. Publishing infrastructure comes as part of the platform, so shipping a game does not require setting up servers first. Egmatic is free during early access. It is built by Vlad Kovnerov as an independent product, developed in the open together with early users. The tool is aimed at people who have a game idea but not a programming background, and at small teams who would rather spend their time on game design than on engine code. Every part of the workflow is covered inside one editor: scene construction, visual logic, real-time preview, multi-platform export and publishing. No code, no backend setup, no engine configuration. A complete 2D game goes from first scene to published build in a single tool, with the visual node editor handling the logic that would otherwise require a programming language. For solo developers and small teams, this means one workflow instead of five tools: design the scenes, wire the logic visually, preview instantly, export everywhere, publish. The free early access period makes the full workflow available while the platform grows toward its published roadmap of accounts, cloud saves and leaderboards. The publish step is part of the same workflow. When the game is ready, one click publishes the build to the target platforms, with the roadmap extending the same one-click approach to player-facing features such as accounts, cloud saves and leaderboards. Nothing in the workflow requires standing up a server, writing glue code or configuring a build pipeline: the platform handles publishing infrastructure so the developer can keep working on the game itself. Early access is the current stage of the product. During this period the complete editor workflow is available free, and feedback from early users shapes the priority of the published roadmap. The project is developed together with its community of solo developers and small teams, and the free early access period is the channel for that collaboration. The editor covers scene construction, visual logic, real-time preview, multi-platform export and publishing in one place, with player accounts, cloud saves and leaderboards planned next on the public roadmap. Small teams can move from a playable draft to a shipped release without a programmer in the loop, and solo developers keep full control of the project files through the versioned JSON format. Free early access is open now.
