## About FirstBark

FirstBark is the biggest dog training directory in the United States. Dog owners browse by state or city, search by radius, filter by training goal, format (private lessons, group classes, board and train, in-home, online), dog age and trainer certifications, read reviews and contact trainers directly. Training businesses list for free.

Finding the right dog trainer can feel overwhelming. Whether you have a new puppy that needs socialization, a rescue dog with anxiety, or an older dog that needs a refresher on basic obedience, FirstBark helps you connect with qualified professionals in your area. Our directory covers all fifty states and thousands of cities, so help is never far away.

Search your way. Start by browsing dog training listings by state or drill down into your city. Use radius search to find trainers within driving distance of your home. Filter results by the training goal that matters most to you, whether that is puppy training, obedience, behavior modification, agility, service dog preparation, or something else entirely.

Choose the format that fits your life. Some dogs thrive with private lessons tailored to their specific needs. Others do great in group classes where they learn alongside their peers. Board and train programs give your dog an immersive experience, while in-home trainers come to you. Prefer to train from your couch? Online and virtual options are listed too.

Filter with confidence. Every listing can be filtered by your dog's age, from young puppies to senior dogs, and by the certifications and credentials held by the trainer. Look for specialists in the exact training goal you have in mind, and read reviews from other dog owners who have worked with them.

Read real reviews. Honest feedback from other pet owners helps you make an informed decision before you reach out. See what worked for them, what their dogs learned, and how the trainer communicated throughout the process.

Contact trainers directly. When you find a good fit, reach out through the listing to ask questions, check availability, and book your first session. There is no middleman and no extra fee for dog owners.

Training businesses list for free. Trainers and training companies can create a listing at no cost, reach motivated dog owners, and grow their client base. Add your certifications, list your programs, and show up when local owners search for help.

FirstBark is a good trainer's best friend and a great next step for every dog owner. Find dog training near you today and take the first step toward a happier, better-behaved dog.
