About RedLurk

The problem every founder hits

You know your customers are on Reddit. You've seen the threads — someone complaining about exactly the problem you solved, asking for recommendations, venting about their current tool. But by the time you find those threads manually, they're three weeks old and buried.

Manual Reddit prospecting means opening six browser tabs, guessing which subreddits to check, scrolling through noise, and still missing the conversations that matter. Most founders either give up or spam every tangentially related post — which gets them banned and burns the goodwill Reddit's communities are built on.

What RedLurk does

RedLurk automates the discovery step so you can focus on the human part: showing up in the right conversation with something genuinely useful to say.

Here's the full flow:

1. Describe your product — paste a sentence or two, or drop your landing page URL and RedLurk extracts the description automatically.

2. AI picks subreddits — up to 10 communities where your exact target audience is actively posting about the problem you solve. Not just adjacent topics — specific subreddits with real signal.

3. You confirm and edit — review the suggested subreddits, remove any that feel off, add your own, then proceed.

4. Reddit is scraped for the last 7 days — only fresh posts via the official Reddit OAuth API. Stale threads, deleted posts, mod/sticky posts, and low-score noise are filtered out automatically.

5. AI selects 8–10 matching conversations — posts where someone is clearly experiencing the pain your product solves, with a "Why it matches" explanation for each one.

6. Draft replies are generated — written to sound like a knowledgeable human, not a marketing bot. No exclamation points, no "Hope this helps", no bullet lists. The first sentence always references something specific from the post.

Why Reddit, why now

Reddit's traffic skews heavily toward US, UK, Canada, and Australia — the highest-intent markets for most SaaS products. Unlike TikTok or Instagram, Reddit's distribution is interest-based, not location-based. A post in the right subreddit reaches the same audience whether you're in San Francisco or anywhere else in the world.

More importantly, Reddit threads are high-intent environments. When someone posts "has anyone found a good solution for X?", they are actively looking to buy or adopt something. That's a fundamentally different context than a social media feed.

Who it's for

RedLurk is built for indie hackers, SaaS founders, and developers doing early-stage customer acquisition. If you're pre-PMF and trying to find your first real users without burning money on ads, this is the tool.
